• Grilamid TR-90: A homopolyamide nylon characterized by an extremely high alternative bending strength, remarkable toughness, exceptional resistance to chemicals, low density, and a remarkably high resistance to UV damange or breakdown. Translation — almost indestructible!
• Polycarbonate Decentered Lens: Used for its high impact resistance due to elasticity, and optical clarity characteristics. The lenses flex versus shattering upon impact. Optics are further enhanced by the "decentering" which eliminates any false optical alteration (magnification, distortion, etc.).
• Hydrophilic rubber adjustable nose and earpieces: Special rubber pads designed to stress comfort but that also increase their grip when they get wet (i.e., perspiration) and are resistant to aging.
